All schema's are composed of four element types. The four element types are root, container, value and attribute.

The following example has each of the four element types.

<schema packageScope="com.wickedfastsolutions.demo.domain">
    <root>
        <container>
            <attribute parent="container" type="positiveInteger">4</attribute>
            <value type="integer" minValue="0" maxValue="255">12</value>
        </container>
    </root>
</schema>

In the above schema, the schema element is considered the root element.

The language provides different attributes for different element types.

- the "root" element is considered to be a container element type

- the "container" element is considered to be a container element type

- the "attribute" element is considered to be an attribute element type

- the "value" element is considered to be an value element type
